Donna is one of our most exciting new young females. She comes
from bloodlines that we wanted to incorporate into our own for sometime now,
and she also exhibits the rare qualities that we feel are very difficult to
find in females nowadays. Donna exhibits the unusual combination of extreme
substance, muscle, and headtype, along with amazing drive for the work and
speed that is uncommon among this heavy and powerful breed of ours. She is a
medium large (59 cm) compactly built female, incredibly broad, with a short
tight coat and beautiful rich color. Her eyes are very dark (1B), as is her
mouth pigment. Her head is powerfully built, with a short and very broad
muzzle. Donna is very full in temperament, drive and energy. She is well known
in our schutzhund club as a dog that comes to the grips very fast, and
everything she does is always at full speed. Off the field, she exhibits the
confidence and strong nerves that our dogs are known for, and is socialable
with adults, children, and other dogs.
As mentioned above, we feel very fortunate to have been able
to bring Donna's great bloodline into our kennel. She is linebred 2-3 on
Jackomo von der Bleichstrasse, who has sired many important and well known
german dogs. Donna's father is Odin vom Fleischer SchH/VPG 3, AD, BH, who is a
muliple V-1 rated show winner and holds the 2002 Elbesieger title. Odin is one
of the best known Balou sons, and has also achieved V scores on the
schutzhund field as well. Donna's mother is Vanny von der Flugschneise SchH/VPG
1, AD, BH, Gekort, who is a littermate sister to German/VDH Champion Vico, and
Europasiegerin, International & German/VDH Champion Vicki. Vico has sired
several great dogs, including dogs winning the Klubsieger, Klub Youth Sieger,
World Youth Sieger, Bundesjugendsieger, and multiple German/VDH Champion
titles. Like Donna, her mother Vanny is also well known in Germany for being
an unusually strong working female. She did an excellent job on her
performance at the korung, and has also been multiple times V-1 rated in
conformation as well.
